Telemedicine in Michigan
Since the COVID-19 pandemic has caused local, state, and federal governments to issue orders of social distancing and sheltering in place, we are fortunate enough to be able to offer services to our Michigan clients via telemedicine. This allows us to maintain contact and standards of care during these unprecedented times.
Telemedicine is Michigan Psychological Care’s best way to provide traditional therapy through an online, HIPPA compliant platform. Our therapists have been trained in using these services and will continue to keep regularly scheduled appointments until we are able to resume business as usual.
We are committed to making sure that no one feels alone in their struggles. We are dedicated to our clients, their needs, and providing services in creative ways to maintain the progress that everyone has made in their treatment. Now is not the time to forget about your mental health and progress you’ve already made.
At this time, we are unsure when we will be able to return to regular business. However, our offices are taking additional cleaning precautions and will continue to do so as long as we need in order for clients to feel safe walking through those doors once more.
Because of the circumstances, telemedicine at Michigan Psychological Care is still developing as a service, and there may be future changes. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have questions or to schedule appointments to speak with your therapist.
On behalf of our offices, Clinton County Medical Center Psychological Services, Gratiot Psychological Services, and Midland Psychological Services, we want to remind you that we are not going anywhere.
We are all in this together.
